Audio-Technica Unveils New Headphone Collection at IFA 2009

Audio-Technica, the leading Japanese manufacturer of high-performance microphones, headphones, wireless systems, mixers and electronic products for home and professional applications is to use IFA, the world’s largest Consumer Electronics Show, to showcase its developing range of consumer headphones and continue the expansion of its markets within Europe.
Showing a raft of earphone and headphone models at IFA 2009 in September – the new additions cover both noise-cancelling and portable applications and include the brand new CKM earphone range.
The three-strong CKM series (comprising CKM90, CKM70 and CKM55) is designed to deliver a rewarding listening experience to discerning users – and their stylish design ensures they look as good as they sound. The flagship CKM90 employs a balanced armature design for stunning sound quality while the CKM70 and CKM55 feature dynamic driver units and impressively wide frequency responses. Each of the CKM series ships with interchangeable ear pieces to allow users to fine-tune a perfect fit.
The new ANC7b is the latest in Audio-Technica’s highly-regarded noise-cancelling headphone line-up. Offering improved audio performance over the original award-winning model, the ANC7b has redesigned ear-cups for increased comfort while continuing to employ Audio-Technica’s exclusive QuietPoint® active noise-cancellation technology to eliminate up to 85% of external noise.
The final new addition for IFA, the FC700 is a sharp-looking headphone designed for portability and comfort. Available in black, white and pink, the new model has folding ear cups for easy storage and a wide frequency response to ensure performance as impressive as its appearance.
