10 September 2009 - Audio-Technica Caters To Studio and Broadcast Professionals at IBC2009
Audio-Technica unveils a wide range of new microphone and headphone products at IBC2009 between 11-15 September. New additions to the popular lifetime-warranted 40 Series studio microphone range and Broadcast and Production series are amongst the exciting new offerings to be launched at the event.
For the first time, Audio-Technica will be showing two ribbon microphones at IBC. The AT4080 and AT4081 are side address microphones with figure-of-eight polar patterns; both are phantom-powered and use aluminium ribbons for enhanced durability. The large AT4080 features two ribbons, while the slim AT4081 has one and, unusually for ribbon microphones, each is robust enough to be used lying down.

Audio-Technica, the leading Japanese manufacturer of high-performance microphones, headphones, wireless systems, mixers and electronic products for home and professional applications is to use IFA, the world’s largest Consumer Electronics Show, to showcase its developing range of consumer headphones and continue the expansion of its markets within Europe.
Showing a raft of earphone and headphone models at IFA 2009 in September – the new additions cover both noise-cancelling and portable applications and include the brand new CKM earphone range.
